Ceasefire Resolution Why is the Gaza Ceasefire Resolution on the City Council's agenda? This is a matter for federal policy makers - not local government.
The controversy surrounding the Ceasefire Resolution pointlessly steals the City Council’s valuable time needed to resolve local issues related to the Fire Department and the budget. It also creates uneccesary rancour and divisiveness in our community.
People advocating for or against a ceasefire resolution should ask their congressional representatives, notably Jared Huffman or Alex Padilla to host a town hall meeting on this matter.
