I am requesting that the historic Bunya bunya tree at the Barlow and Hwy 12 NOT be removed! The Barlow has been denied this request twice and is now asking for a third time to get rid of a 100 year old tree that was planted by Luther Burbank and is now one of only two left in Sebastopol.
Management and care of this tree is the suggested solution to the risk of cones dropping.
It seems the Barlow is trying to get what they want by continuing to petition even though the Design and Tree Review Board has declined the petition to remove this 100 year old tree twice.
This tree deserves to remain standing, regardless of the short sighted lack of vision of the Barlow businessmen who are only thinking about profit.
Please save the Bunya bunya tree!
