Dear Council Members and Staff,
It seems that there is a lot of interest to supporting the Ad Hoc Library Committee, specifically from Supervisor Hopkins.
Sebastopol is in a fiscal emergency. It appears that staffing will be reduced to balance the budget.
Given that Supervisor Hopkins is interested in this committee and she has a staff, perhaps her staff can supply support for the work of this committee.
At this point, Sebastopol needs to reduce staff time on committees. If the new library is funded through a collaboration with the County, it seems that the Supervisor’s office could support this committee.
In addition, Supervisor Hopkins should be asked to use some of her discretionary funds to support Well 4 replacement.
