Agenda Item 9: Fire Ad Hoc Committee Tasks
I’m re-sending the question below to suggest that another task ought to be assigned to the ad hoc committee. The questions below haven’t yet been answered in a public forum.

Dear Council and City Manager,
The table below from the Report out of Recommendations from the Fire Ad Hoc Committee on the Future of Fire Delivery Services for the City of Sebastopol indicates that under the recommended merger with Gold Ridge, Sebastopolitans will pay a fixed percentage of city revenue in addition to the revenue derived from the consolidation parcel tax.
Does Sonoma County provide a fixed percentage of county revenue (disregarding future Measure H funds) to the Gold Ridge Fire District? If not, why should it be necessary for Sebastopolitans to pay a substantially higher rate for the same level of fire protection? Thanks and regards,
