Subject: Continued funding for the Sebastopol Cultural Community Center (Youth Annex) Date: Saturday, July 6, 2024 10:16:03 PM
Hello,
I was very saddened to recently learn that the Sebastopol Cultural Community Center (Youth Annex) or SCCC is likely to lose funding from the City Council. I have been attending dance classes and other events at the SCCC for the last 5 years and have benefited greatly from the use of that space. It is a cultural community hub and is only able to offer such a diversity of affordable classes because of the affordable rental prices. One of the things I'm proud of about Sebastopol is the many rich offerings for such a small community.
I ask the City Council to vote to continue funding the SCCC so teachers can continue to make affordable offerings!
Thank you
