NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Sebastopol will hold a public hearing on September 3, 2024 to consider a Resolution setting the Valuation rates for certain building projects and affirming the Building Officials authority to set rates for construction not listed in this resolution.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that these set rates and any rates set by the City Building Official will be subject to annual cost of living increases on July 1 of each year based on The Consumer Price Index (CPI) for the previous year. Any person having any objections to the proposed valuation setting resolution are hereby notified to attend a virtual meeting or in person meeting of the City Council of Sebastopol, to be held on September 3, 2024 at or after 6:00 p.m., when and where their objection will be heard and given consideration.
The City Council Regular Meeting will be held in Person and Virtual /Remote Participation.
In Person Location: Sebastopol Youth Annex, 425 Morris Street, Sebastopol, CA 95472.
Remote/Virtual Participation: Zoom Link is to be used for providing public comment/Live Stream is utilized for viewing only of Meeting.
Important Notice: The City of Sebastopol shows both live broadcasts and Video Archive of City Council Meetings over the Internet. Your attendance at this public meeting may result in the recording and broadcast of your image and/or voice. Videos are available for one year from date of meeting.
The City Council will consider this on: Tuesday, September 3, 2024 at or after 6:00 pm
Anyone interested may attend in person, by phone or by computer and be heard at this meeting. Zoom Information for remote/virtual participation will be available 72 hours prior to the City Council meeting.
SUBMITTING COMMENTS: For staff report inclusion, all comments must be received one week prior to the meeting date. Comments shall be submitted by email to [email protected] or mailed/left at City of Sebastopol Fire Department, 7425 Bodega Avenue, Sebastopol, CA 95472, or you may also leave a voice mail that will be made a part of the public record. Please call 707-823-8061 to leave a message (by recording or comments provided verbally to City staff). If recorded, your voice mail will be transcribed (utilizing the two minutes for public comment) and provided to the City Clerk as a public record but will not be read into the minutes at the City Council meeting. Comments received after posting of the agenda will be provided to the Council and made part of the public record.
If you challenge this project in court, you may be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raised at the public hearing described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the City of Sebastopol, at, or prior to, the public hearing.
