I strongly oppose this sudden and huge raise for Asst City Manager. It is irresponsible and shady to bring this to a City Council Meeting on Election Night where folks are distracted by an already divisive election. You should postpone any action on this until a public debate takes place at another time. I will still oppose this, yet the people should have ample time to speak and be heard re: this outrageous pay raise.
