Dear Council Members,
We residents have been asked to pass Measure U and have had out water rates go up enormously (without being asked) . Now you want to give a raise of over $46,000, to someone who is already earning a six-figure salary.
This seems to be more of the unrealistic budgeting that got us into this bad situation to begin with. Please reconsider! Maybe a 5% raise is appropriate; but this is outrageous! Lynne S. Hollander
