City Council Members.
My name is Ron Helow, and I have lived in Sebastopol for 9 years. I’m aware that Tuesday’s Council meeting includes approving the annual budget for the town.
Included in the budget is a small line item for the MYN project. My neighborhood began the MYN program several years ago under the guidance of Skip Jirrels. The program has been extremely important in getting our neighbors to significantly improve our readiness for emergencies. We wouldn’t have accomplished as much as we have without the guidance from the program and especially Skip’s constant encouragement and help.
We very much appreciate your support of the program in the past and fervently hope that it will be continued. Our neighborhood still has much room for improvement, and most neighborhoods aren’t yet enrolled in the program.
Please see that the program and Skip’s involvement continue. The outlay is extremely small in comparison with the need.
