I want to commend the Planning Department for the way they’ve handled the "Cock Robin" signage controversy. It really takes guts to confront such an erect challenge, especially when it's standing so prominently on Sebastopol Avenue. The commitment to ensuring that no sign overextends itself beyond what’s appropriate—while keeping everything proportional—is truly noteworthy.
I’m also impressed by the stamina your team has shown in dealing with this long, drawn-out process. It’s no easy task to bring oversized issues back into compliance, especially when they just pop up unexpectedly without prior approval. I hope the Council will eventually bring a satisfying conclusion that fits everyone comfortably, keeping the situation from getting out of hand, so to speak.
