Dear City Council,
As a resident and homeowner of Sebastopol I'd like to voice my support for keeping Recology as our recycling and compost hauling service. We have no problems with the service and it makes no sense to truck our waste to a facility that is out of county. That negates the benefits of offering a recycling service in the first place.
I am also a business owner based here in Sebastopol. Small businesses, particularly food businesses, operate on thin margins as is. The increase in fees from taking on SCRR as our new servicer would be an unnecessary burden to take on in addition to the already exorbitant utility costs approved by the city.
