Dear City Council,
I understand that there is a proposal to switch Trash carriers from Recology to another carrier. While I understand that rates will be going up regardless of who gets the contract, I believe that Recology has been diligent and fair in their rates and quality of service. They are also civic minded and give back to the community. As a Board member of the Sebastopol Chamber of commerce, I appreciate that they have hauled trash for free for the Apple Blossom Festival and sponsored the same for the Peacetown Summer Concert Series. Recology has been a supportive part of our community and we would well served to retain their services.
Thank you,
Jim Corbett
