To all Sebastopol City Council members,
Why is the council trying to fix what is not broken?
In recent months we have discovered the city is in debt, the fire-house re-organisation has stalled, the water and sewer infrastructure have not been maintained, and the homeless are still in limbo….. and so it seems there are enough issues needing your immediate attention and remediation.
Why are you renegotiating waste-hauling contracts? I have not heard any complaints about Recology. They have done good work in educating the public about recycling , composting and minimizing garbage. They have been reliable and affordable. Their facilities are within the county.
Recology gets my vote. Please turn your attention to the real issues the city faces.
