Dear Sebastopol City Council,
I’m writing as a lifelong resident of Sebastopol. I’m deeply alarmed by the recent moves by the city council to control and restrict the flow of information between city council members, city staff, and reporters.
Especially at this time, when transparency in government is more important than ever, reporters must have free, open and timely access to the workings of city government.
I’m honestly pretty shocked that this is happening in Sebastopol.
