Dear Members Sebastopol City Council,
Please remember in your up-coming discussion on Tuesday, March 4 2025, that freedom of the press is a fundamental check and balance point for democracy. We are fortunate to have at least two robust publications in our area, Sebastopol Times and the Press Democrat. An informed community is essential. When people are heard, involved in discussions, and engaged in solution based government we all thrive. It may be messy and complicated to “manage” opinions, ideas, and action— but the results is what is the best of Sebastopol-- a unique and prosperous community.
