To Whom it May Concern,
I am writing because I oppose the press policy passed in November 2024 by the Sebastopol City Council.
Our community members deserve to know the plans and actions of council members we elected. I’m deeply concerned that this policy will censor the officials we picked to represent us.
I’m a firm believer that local government can be a force for good, but in a time when many in our community have lost faith in democracy, we need transparency not censorship.
