Hello~
I tried to use your comment page to send a message but the "submit" button did nothing, so sending via email.
Apologies if you've received it already.
I am a 14-year resident of Sebastopol, a mother of two school-age children, tax-payer and business-owner. I was dismayed to read about the new policy making it difficult for journalists to report on town government. This is an enormous red flag. In all of history, the good guys are never the ones trying to impede or censor journalists. What are you trying to hide? What kind of corruption is happening in our town? I urge you to review and amend this policy at once, because it looks very bad. It's time to be more, not less, transparent about your actions if you want the trust of those paying the bills.
Thank you,
Katherine Maddox
