Hello,
My name is Leah Wilner and I am a constituent of Sebastopol.
I am writing to state my opposition to the recently enacted press policies that limit communication between reporters and Sebastopol city officials. A well-informed populace is essential to a well-functioning democracy, and this policy creates unnecessary hurdles for the public to understand the workings of our local government.
I recommend an immediate revision or removal of this press policy, again allowing transparent communication between the press and government employees and agencies.
