There is this little thing called the First Amendment that protects the free press. The Sebastopol City Council having an elaborate procedure for allowing council members to talk to the press is a bureaucratic blockage to the free press and needs to be rescinded. Where I used to work these were called work blockages, that is having to go through specific people to talk to others who work for the city. Well, I know how I am voting November 2026.
