Dear Sebastopol City Council members,
I am truly scared and horrified by the direction this council is headed The proposed press protocols is just one more destructive action that will further erode the trust that I and other citizens in this town, have in you.
You don't listen to us, you do only what you decide is right. I'm not going to go into all the past poor decisions you've made. It's not easy but I want to stick to the topic.
If you pass the proposal there will be little reason to put any faith in the answers any of you, as individuals or as a group provide. Any information will be some that the mayor and whoever he chooses to discuss it with, will have spent a day or two thinking over and massaging into some sort of canned response which provides almost no real information nor does it answer the question asked.
If you as individuals can't answer a question about what you think or how you feel about something that's going on around here, why would we want to vote for you in the future. We won't know what you think or how you really feel about anything. One thing we will know is that you caved to this trust crushing proposal.
