NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Sebastopol has scheduled a public hearing to review the proposal for a Development Agreement for the Barlow Hotel project at 6782 Sebastopol Avenue, APN 004- 750-030. The project is proposed by Ari Wangerin representing The Barlow, LLC, and consists of a hotel with up to 83 rooms, and overall height of up to 55 feet with a rooftop pool and cafe. On the ground floor, the hotel will also include ancillary uses including a restaurant, a spa, a retail space, and meetings rooms. The new hotel would replace the existing Guayaki building on the project site and would redevelop the parking area between that building and the community market to improve the parking adjacent to the hotel including a drive-up area for the hotel. The project also includes the development of an offsite parking lot at 385 Morris Street which will include 232 surface parking spaces with a mix of valet, regular, and EV parking spaces. The Planning Commission has made a recommendation for approval of the Development Agreement to the City Council.
The City Council Regular Meeting will be held in Person and Virtual /Remote Participation.

SUBMITTING COMMENTS: For staff report inclusion, all comments must be received one week prior to the meeting date. Comments shall be submitted by email to: [email protected] or mailed/left at City of Sebastopol City Hall located at 7120 Bodega Avenue, or you may also leave a voice mail that will be made a part of the public record. Please call 707 823 1153 to leave a message (by recording or comments provided verbally to City staff). If recorded, your voice mail will be transcribed (utilizing the two minutes for public comment) and provided to the City Clerk as a public record but will not be read into the minutes at the City Council meeting. Comments received after posting of the agenda will be provided to the Council and made part of the public record.
If you challenge this item in court, you may be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raised at the public hearing described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the City of Sebastopol, at, or prior to, the public hearing.
