Sebastopol City Council Members,
I am writing in support of the restroom project at the Luther Burbank Experiment Farm. This City park attracts visitors from all over the country.The property is being managed by the Western Sonoma County Historical Society by Volunteers.
At this point in time, the 3 acre property is open during daylight hours, to roam the pathways, have a picnic and see some of the living history of Burbank's creations. The cottage which houses an aging restroom system, is only available on Wednesdays, during our volunteer workday. Unfortunately it is not ADA compliant. We feel very lucky to have this special piece of history in our wonderful town. Restrooms are not available nearby except in other city parks.
We are delighted to be a part of helping to bring tourism to Sebastopol! Thank you for your consideration of this project.
