Dear Mayor Zollman, Vice Mayor McLewis, and Members of the City Council, I am writing to provide public comment in support of agenda item 4, the Main Street America Program.
I hope that the Council will consider the Main Street America Program.
Main Street America offers a wide range of support that would benefit our city—from training to grants to access to a wide network of communities and community leaders like ours. Tapping into this resource means we don’t have to reinvent the proverbial wheel and allows us to reinvigorate OUR main street businesses which, although vibrant and wonderful, are facing economic challenges that are only getting more difficult.
