Subject: High St. Neighbor supports PorchFest

Hello Mayor Zollman and Vice Mayor McLewis, and Councilmembers Hinton, Maurer, and Carter, I live at and wanted to express that I would love to see Sebastopol PorchFest continue this September. I live on one of the blocks that was closed and had a wonderful time listening to music, visiting with neighbors, and seeing friends. I volunteered with the set up team as well. I felt that the organizers did a great job, and I know that they are preparing for another well-organized, safe, and joyful event this fall.
Many other communities across the country host successful PorchFest events, and I would love for Sebastopol to continue in joining this tradition. It is a wonderful way to build community and nurture young and up-and-coming musicians. I am confident that the organizers and community volunteers will keep the event orderly, safe, and fun.
I am unfortunately unable to come or Zoom in to the council meeting Tuesday, as I will be away camping, but I urge you to support this community-building event in our town.
