Hi Mary and Mark,
Please withdraw our permit request for Porchfest Sebastopol. We will still be at tonight's meeting to answer any questions, however and we plan on having a smaller festival at SebArts on the same date.
In the past few days, we've determined the following:
1. Having Porchfest on High Street is too divisive to the neighborhood and runs counter to our stated mission of community-building efforts.
2. It is too expensive to purchase a TCP to close the streets even if it's for the safety of our visitors.
3. We can manage a mini-Hardly-Porchfest at SebArts and, with the city's assistance, in Ives Park.
Thank you for all your help and we apologize for this late notice. Please let us know how the City would like to assist with our change of plans: reduced fees for Ives Park or other accommodating factors would be most appreciated.
