Hi Sebastopol City Council Members,
I’m writing to voice my support for the Porchfest Sebastopol event planned for Sept. I live on which was one of the streets that had porch music at the event last year.
The organizers did an excellent job communicating with the neighborhood and making attendee safety a priority at the event. Not only did the event bring the community together, it also promoted and supported local musicians. I was extremely impressed how well the inaugural Porchfest was executed and witnessed so many families and friends come together to celebrate music and community.
I donated last year and plan to volunteer at this year’s event, because I do truly believe that this is an important event for our community and should continue for years to come.
Thank you for your time and work you do on the city council for this amazing town. Allowing Porchfest to continue, will benefit the town and make our community stronger through the connections we are able to make through music.
Sincerely,
Jamey Agathen
