Dear City Council Members,
I would like to express my heartfelt support for holding Porchfest in Sebastopol again this year. I felt a great sense of commUnity that day last year and loved how we all came together to make it happen as organizers, volunteers and participants. It felt like it fed our sense of pride and connection as a community of very talented and fun loving people.
In these days of uncertainty and heaviness, it’s so important to have these events that remind us how much joy and life we have surrounding us in our own neighborhoods. As a volunteer, it gave me the opportunity to give back and meet new people and work together to make something really awesome happen with what we have. As a Sebastopol home owner and resident, it reminds me of why I live here.
