Dear Mayor Zollman and Vice Mayor McLewis, and Councilmembers Hinton, Maurer, and Carter,
I live at and hosted musicians at last September's
PorchFest. I was involved with the setup and breakdown of the event as well as walking from stage to stage to answer questions and help the flow of the event. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience, which included engaging with neighbors, reconnecting with friends and listening to music.
The organizers did an excellent job, and I'm confident this year's event will be just as well-organized, safe, and enjoyable.
PorchFest is a thriving tradition in numerous communities across the country, and I strongly advocate for Sebastopol's continued participation. It serves as a greatplatform for community building and the cultivation of emerging musical talent.
Sincerely,
Jen Lofchie
