Dear Council Friends,
I never wanted this development in the first place. Some of you may remember me quacking loudly against it. But here we are.
I feel quite distressed over the plight of the current Woodmark tenants who, through no fault of their own, are being evicted. I have been out picketing with them and have heard some of their stories and find them heartbreaking.
I wonder if you can find it in your hearts and pocketbooks to lend them our attorney for a time to explore their options. Anything you can do to help these poor victimized people will be to your credit and I thank you for that.
