That the City Council receive the informational presentation from Sebastopol World Friends. This presentation will serve as a brief introduction of the Open World Delegates from Sister City Chyhyryn.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
Sebastopol World Friends will provide a brief introduction and overview of the visiting Open World Delegates from Chyhyryn, Ukraine, highlighting the purpose of their visit and opportunities for engagement with the Sebastopol community.
BACKGROUND:
Sebastopol World Friends is a City of Sebastopol commissioned non-profit service group which is totally volunteer driven. Their mission is to link Sebastopol with its sister cities through a variety of educational and cultural programs and to coordinate exchanges which will promote lasting friendships.
Sebastopol World Friends offers a changing array of programs connected to our two sister cities Takeo, Japan (formerly Yamauchi), and Chyhyryn, Ukraine.
DISCUSSION:
Tonight’s item is to receive an informational verbal presentation on the Open World Delegation Visiting the City of Sebastopol.

The presentation is informational in nature and does not require Council action.
