Reason for Interest for this Committee:
I have served as the alternate and primary liaison to these entities for the last three years and would like to continue in that capacity. During that period I have had numerous meetings to help provide information to our Chief for our EOP.
Through this work I have become a County Emergency Response Team (CERT), a licensed HAM radio operator (important in order to understand what our Sebastopol radio communication team offers when our cell towers go down) and a county Department of Emergency Management Auxiliary Communication Service Volunteer. I believe this county training and experience will help provide the necessary resources if a disaster occurs within the city.
