Reason for Interest for this Committee:
I have served as either the primary liaison for this past year and would like to continue in that capacity. In addition to board work I sit on a subcommittee which is charged with reviewing the county as the lead agency for the continuum of care.
My work helps to keep me up to speed on what county resources there are available to support our four supportive housing entities. As we learned from our new DHS Director homeless funding sources and distributions is complex and continuity of service in our relationships will benefit the city especially as the opening of Gravenstein Commons is the near horizon.
