Reason for Interest for this Committee:
I have served as the primary liaison for the last three years and would like to continue in that capacity. During that period I served on various sub-committees that have advanced the needs of our community. One was for the creation of a business hub that would help reduce barriers for small business owners and the other was to provide recommendations for Advisory Board members.
I worked to create an informational presentation at our Senior Center but low registration caused it to be cancelled. During my time I have advocated for more to be done to reduce bills and to provide more for those who are struggling. This entity has resources that could help our community through the Commons and in other ways.
