Hello,
I am writing today as a 57 year old mother and member of Generation Housing. The agenda for 1/6/26 can make an impact for our future. I am specifically referring to #12 on the agenda and even more specifically, item #7 in the housing element.
I am thrilled to see that you are considering making a way for ADUs to be purchased separate from the main dwelling. I have lived in Sonoma County since graduating from SSU in 1991.
Both my sons are struggling with housing (ages 24 and 26) and now I am too. I'd love the dream I held of retiring in Sonoma County to come true and have my sons come back "home". Please take this step to breathe some LIFE and youth back into Sebastopol and LEAD the way for other local jurisdictions to do so.
