Dear Council Members,
Thank you for taking initiative regarding the sidewalks and the unnecessary, empty and trashed newspaper boxes.
While I love newspapers and support the printed word, many of the boxes on Sebastopol’s sidewalks are empty, unused and marred by graffiti.
I support an ordinance which regulates newspaper boxes.
Newspaper boxes need to be in regular use (not empty for over 3 months), regularly cleaned (every month) of graffiti and stickers and regularly maintained (in good condition, not sun faded and in working operation).
Please keep working on getting Main Street and downtown looking sharp and clean.
Thank you,
Kate Haug
