Dear Council Members,
Please reconsider the pot-hole plan for Sebastopol’s streets.

Fixing pot-holes is appropriate when roads are in better condition. I urge you to increase the budget, using Measure U funds, to repair streets for the long term.

In addition, please put a sidewalk on Palm between Main Street and Petaluma Avenue. This section of road has no sidewalk even though there are two major crosswalks on Main Street and Petaluma avenue.

Please use part of the $500,000 to put in a sidewalk on Palm between Main Street and Petaluma Avenue and also repair that section of Palm as it is highly trafficked by cars accessing Petaluma Avenue and Main Street.

Before spending $500,000 review street and sidewalk priorities, create a plan and spend money on long-term solutions, not temporary band aids like pot hole repair.

Thank you,
Kate Haug
