Subject: plans for Rite Aid building
Hello City of Sebastopol,
As a resident of Sebastopol, I would like to oƯer a suggestion for the vacant Rite Aid building. We already have five grocery stores of various types. There are other items for which we all have to drive to Santa Rosa. TJ Maxx is a store that recycles overstock items from commercial stores. These are new items not salable because of quantity, past season, or unsold. The recycling aspect would fit the philosophy of Sebastopol. In addition to men’s and women’s clothing, they oƯer baby clothes, kitchen items, shoes, a small amount of furniture items, bedding, wall decoration, etc etc.
This would help keep us oƯ the road to Santa Rosa. If Grocery Outlet is a done deal, perhaps this other store could go into the old CVS building by Lucky’s.
