Dear Council,
Please support the development of the Apple Blossom Trail and allow it to move on to a Feasibility Study. This trail will be used and appreciated by a huge portion of our community. For it to work the trail needs to cross five essential private properties. Each owner has agreed to support the trail acrossing their land and have signed letters stating they will allow the City to create the needed easements. Please take advantage of this fortunate opportunity while it lasts.
Remarkably this trail crosses through middle of our already developed town. The trail connects many residence to the town core and the end of the Joe Rodota Trail.
It will go through Ives Park. Go past two bus stops. It will go past three schools and allow the County to extend the trail to Apple Blossom School via along Atascadero Creek. This will help mitigate the traffic problems each of these schools deal with twice a day.
This trail will make Sebastopol a better place to live.
