Subject: Animal Services in Sebastopol
Hello,
I am writing to express concern that the City of Sebastopol remains under contract with North Bay Animal Services. Recent Grand Jury reports from both Sonoma County and Lake County found neglectful conditions and/or basic practices not being completed for animals under the care of North Bay Animal Services.
A recent article in the Press Democrat details horrible conditions for dogs at a Clearlake Shelter run by North Bay Animal Services.

Please consider terminating the contract with North Bay Animal Services. This is unacceptable and does not represent how residents want their animals treated by government services.
