North Bay Animal Services (NBAS) Monthly Report –
January 2026
On February 3, 2026, Chief McDonagh conducted an inspection of the NBAS facility for the January period in accordance with directives issued by the City Council following a recent Grand Jury review.
During the visit, Chief McDonagh toured the facility in its entirety, including all associated rooms and areas. The inspection revealed no deficiencies, and the facility was found to be well maintained, orderly, and in good condition.
With respect to the issues referenced in the Grand Jury report, the inspection did not identify any corresponding concerns.
