Dear Mayor and City Council members;
I am writing to express my opposition to exempting traditional security cameras from the current technology ordinance. This is a civil liberties issue, we all deserve protection from invasive mass surveillance. I urge the city council to not approve the amendment exempting traditional security cameras like Ring cameras because it would create a loophole that could be used to further erode the actual safety of our communities.
