I have had my two cents on the two-way. When you talk about pedestrian-friendly, remember your old folks and the handicapped.
You don't always have to decide the night of a big ticket item. You can let Council members take a week and think. Mull it over. I was a little surprised the Council voted so quickly. Just saying.
You can even close the Hearing and admonish the Council and the public not to talk to each other (record closed), and we'll decide next week. What was the hurry? Getting it off your plate?
You have your in-town constituency and the through traffic constituency, local traffic, State, and County. I detected wishful thinking. That doesn't cut it for public office.
