CITY OF SEBASTOPOL
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEBASTOPOL AUTHORIZING THE INTERIM CITY
MANAGER TO EXECUTE ALL EASEMENT AND RELATED DOCUMENTS PERTAINING TO THE AMERICORPS
TRAIL PROJECT WITH SONOMA COUNTY AGRICULTURAL PRESERVATION AND OPEN SPACE DISTRICT ON
BEHALF OF THE CITY
WHEREAS, the City of Sebastopol (City) applied for and received a grant in the amount of $126,943.00 from the Sonoma County Agricultural Preservation and Open Space District (“District”) and entered into a Matching Grant Agreement executed by the City of Sebastopol on October 7, 2021 for the AmeriCorps Trail Extension Project CIP #0411-73.00 (project); and WHEREAS, the Matching Grant Agreement stipulates that the City will provide a Conservation Easement, a Recreation Conservation Covenant, and an Irrevocable Offer of Dedication to the District; and
WHEREAS, on June 17, 2025, the City Council approved a Letter of Intent with the District that details the framework and acceptance of the Conservation Easement Agreement and related documents for the project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Sebastopol does hereby authorize the Interim City Manager to execute all easement and related documents pertaining to the AmeriCorps Trail Project upon technical review by the City Engineer and legal approval of the documents by the City Attorney.
The above and foregoing Resolution was duly passed, approved, and adopted at a meeting by the City Council on the 21st day of April 2026 by the following vote:
