Noteworthy Information
1. Seven new home permits were issued this month for Canopy. Grand Opening for the project was held this past weekend and sales have officially opened. Twentythree homes are under construction, with four models conditionally finaled and open to the public.
2. Huntley Square and the ten units there are moving along. Plumbing inspections for five units have been completed and work is proceeding on foundation. We should see wood wall framing by end of May.
3. Habitat project is wrapping up hopefully by the end of June. Interiors are fairly complete, now finishing garages and outside work.
4. We are continuing to work with A&M BarBQ. One smoker has been moved outside of town, and they are looking at a couple of locations to move the other one.
Discussions have been going on to move the smoker’s to the El Coronel parking lot, which could be allowed under current zoning.
5. Sportago is slated to open May 15 at 135 S Main Street. Final inspection was completed this week, with the only remaining issue being a replacement front door.
