Subject: General Public Comment: A&M BBQ Public Support Dear Mayor, Members of the City Council, and City Staff, We wanted to take a moment to sincerely thank the community for the overwhelming support we have received following our recent public letter regarding A&M BBQ’s current situation.
Over the past several days, hundreds of customers, neighbors, local business owners, and supporters have reached out to us through emails, social media, direct messages, phone calls, and in-person conversations. The response has been emotional and deeply meaningful for our entire team.
Attached to this email are screenshots representing just a small portion of the comments and messages we have received from community members expressing support for our business, our staff, and our efforts to find a long-term solution.
Many of these messages speak not only about the food we serve, but about the role A&M BBQ has played in bringing people together, supporting local events, creating jobs, and contributing to Sebastopol’s small business community. We are incredibly grateful for the kindness and encouragement people have shown us.
Our hope is simply to be granted reasonable time to transition responsibly so we can keep our business operating, continue employing our staff, and avoid an abrupt disruption to the livelihoods of the people who depend on A&M BBQ.
Thank you again for your time, consideration, and continued dialogue. We appreciate the opportunity to work collaboratively toward a solution.
