Subject: Proposed Grocery Outlet

Dear Members of the City Council,
we have lived in Sebastopol since 1997 and love our town. We are in full support of bringing Grocery Outlet to Sebastopol as a low cost grocery option that is run by local managers and provides an important service to our community, especially the lower income brackets.

Not everybody can aƯord to shop at Community Market, Pacific Market or Whole Foods (Safeway is just as expensive) and the likes. Grocery Outlet stores oƯer healthy alternatives at a much lower cost.

We also think not leaving the Rite Aid site empty forever is a no-brainer situation.

Please don't let all the nay-sayers ruin this, too often Sebastopol makes decisions that negatively aƯect many people, especially lower income people. We do understand the importance of supporting local businesses and we do that all the time, but this is not really a one-oƯ.

Thanks for your consideration
