Subject: In Support of A&M BBQ – Resident Comment for June 2nd Meeting Dear Sebastopol City Council Members,
I am writing to express my strong support for A&M BBQ as they work with the City to navigate their current operational and relocation challenges.
As a local resident, I truly enjoy having this restaurant in our town. Beyond the fact that they serve delicious high-quality barbecue, A&M BBQ brings something deeply valuable to Sebastopol: they enrich our town's diversity and community vibe. Having a small, locally-owned business built by longtime residents adds to the unique character that makes Sebastopol a special place to live.
While I understand the neighborhood concerns regarding their growth, it is clear that the team at A&M BBQ cares about being good neighbors and is actively, in good faith, seeking a long-term location that suits their needs.
I respectfully urge the City Council to grant A&M BBQ the reasonable time and flexibility they need to transition to a new location successfully. Supporting them through this process ensures we keep a beloved local business, protect local jobs, and maintain the diverse, welcoming spirit of our community.
