Subject: Letter in support of A&M from direct resident neighbor
My name is Erin Redding, and I am a homeowner in the city of Sebastopol. My home actually is directly across from A&M – 504 Petaluma Ave. My back windows are in a direct line to the business, including the smoker. I am writing this in SUPPORT of A&M. Living downtown, even in a small town such as Sebastopol, means you are in the middle of the activity. Activity that you don’t get to choose or control. It is part of the package. You get the convenience and vibrancy, and you also have increased noise and traƯic and neighborhood activity and a variety of smells. A&M has been a welcome addition to this little area of downtown and we appreciate watching a business thrive due to their hard work, friendly staƯ, and excellent food. The increase in traƯic has never been an issue, and we have found everyone working to be respectful. You don’t get to choose your neighbors. You can work with your neighbors, residents and businesses alike, to jointly problem solve – and I have seen the staƯ do many times, asking patrons to move their cars, etc. It would be a shame to allow the loud voices of a few force out a business that has breathed life into a corner of Sebastopol that really needed it. A&M is an asset to Sebastopol. My family is in FULL SUPPORT of A&M.
