Subject: Apple Blossom Trail
Dear Ms.Gourley,
I am a 78 year old resident of Burbank Heights and Orchards at Sebastopol. I’ve read of the proposal to allow bicyclists to use the same road our residents walk and travel on within our community and I feel endangered by the very thought of having bikes ride through our community when we are all seniors 62+. Many of us are well over our 70’s and it feels stressful to even think of taking my daily health building walks and looking out for bikes (maybe motor bikes too?). If they want to get off their bikes and walk through, that would be a lot less intimidating. This is our home. Our community. There are not many places where we can feel safe. I am asking you to consider the 187 residents here and please be open to the people that live here.

Nearly 200 of us. And many of us (most?) have disability issues.

Thank you in advance for your consideration on this issue.

Respectfully,
Lena Rothman
