To whom it may concern,
It has been brought to my attention that there is a complaint campaign against A&M BBQ located at 495 S.Main St, Sebastopol. I am writing to express my support for this wonderful business and to quell any illinformed concerns or allegations in relation to their business.
My name is Heidi Margocsy. My business (In Her Image Photography) is located directly opposite A&M BBQ at 503.S Main St, Sebastopol. I run a busy high-end portrait studio with clients who travel from all over the Bay Area and even out of state to work with me .
The day I moved into that space, Kris (the owner of A&M) was the first neighbor to introduce himself and welcome me to the block. He and his team always have a smile for anyone walking by. They are not only wonderful business neighbors, but they are clearly proud to be a part of this neighborhood and value their community.
I send my clients to their business after their portrait sessions so they can enjoy A&M's amazing oƯerings! Clients always rave about not only the service, but also the food. I'm grateful to have such a fabulous food business opposite my own place of work that my clients can enjoy pre or post portrait session.
A&M BBQ has recently been featured in numerous large-scale influential SF publications, news outlets and social media platforms promoting their awesome food, therefore bringing people TO Sebastopol (which helps support others businesses). I'd imagine these same publications and news outlets would be greatly disheartened to hear that the business that they recently promoted and praised are now currently being scrutinized by unreasonable locals.
Neither myself, my co-workers nor my clients have EVER experienced parking issues, nor have we found the meat smokers oƯensive. Considering I'm directly opposite them, I'd assume that if anyone would have an issue or concern, it would be those in direct proximity like myself.
I urge you to reconsider any decisions that would negatively impact this well loved, Black owned business. Kris and his team are valued members of not only this business community, but also by their very loyal customers.
